Wierd Winter

We camped out in January with the kids in my mother-in-law's back yard. It was really pretty warm. Jacket weather. Wyatt loved it, Ella doesn't like sleeping bags and, two adults and an Ella do not fit in a two man tent. It is officially time to get a new tent. It was a good thing that Wyatt slept in grandma's tent. I'm worried that a lot of my life will be spent camping, for the sake of Wyatt. Nothing like building memories, of sleepless nights and wrestling Ella's. Not that I mind camping, I just like my sleep.
Continuing on the weird winter vein of conversation, we had a cook out last week, roasted hot dogs and stuff. Crazy.

Ella and all of her animals. She likes to line things up. It is kind of funny. Wyatt never did this. She is very paticular about it. They are all spaced evenly, and facing the same direction. Then Wyatt comes and knocks them all down and she starts again, after yelling, Wyatt!!! She also likes to wear his clothes thus the over-sized gorilla pj's.

It has been more like a prolonged spring, without hardly any snow and unusually warm spells inbetween foggy rain. Interesting, there is snow in the mountains though. This is on Christmas day. The bird is new and Ella is wearing a pink tutu over her pj's. Wyatt is wearing his new thomas pj's.

Wyatt with his red car from santa clause. He really likes red, if you ask him what color his eyes are he will say, Red.

Ella and her gloves and hat, she will wear them if it is her idea, but at least she will wear them, I just have to make it look like hear idea. She sure comes with a lot of opinions for someone so small. She threw a fit about her dress yesterday and wouldn't let me fix her hair. She wanted Daddy to do it. The funny thing is I remember feeling the same way with my mom. I already have to let her pick her own clothes because if I don't I get the cold shoulder until noon. I really don't know where she gets it.

I feel your pain on the little girl tantrums. I've got two kids full of it. I feel like they're already teenagers. I can't believe it could be hormones already...

How do you feel about this winter's weather compared to last winter's (or was it 2008) snow-mageddon?

I've never minded the snow, I actually kind of miss it. A happy medium would be nice.

Your kids are so grown up! I can't believe Ella! She's such a cutie! Gotta love this age, it's really keeping me busy.
That's cool that you've done a few calendars for Christmas. I love being a consultant it is such a blast! I'd love to see any projects that you've done. I agree it's ten times easier to do it digitally, because I can actually get it done. Have a great day!
