Look What I Did !

Hey I was really happy how this turned out. Though I can't take all the credit I have a friend who let me borrow all of her fancy cake baking stuff that makes it a lot easier. I had fun on my 15 +/- hour project. There was a lot of frosting but it was a good chocolate cake so it could have been worse. I think my favorite part is the little scroll detail on the sides of the cake. The roses are easier than they look. The hardest part was getting the frosting the right consistency. Anyway while I was doing it I was thinking of all of the things that were more worth while that I could have been doing, but the end result was worth it I think. Don't look too close you'll see all my mistakes. I never realized what kind of work can go into something that is destroyed in seconds.

Mobility; A Double Edged Sword

Well lil' miss Ellabelle is officially mobile. It's nice to have her get around on her own because she is more content, but...

She is now getting into things. She shut herself in the bathroom and was entertaining herself with the toilet paper. Wyatt is now not the only one we can blame things on. I do have to admit that my intitial reaction is 'where is my camera?' and then she gets gently reprimanded. I think she is so cute.

Josh said "Uh oh, we have another kitchen helper." Indeed we do. Wyatt still helps with the dishwasher. He likes to spin the sprayer. I'm afraid he is just beginning to see the encroachment upon his territory.

Update

Hey Everyone!

Sorry its been a while. Life gets kind of crazy sometimes. So we went down to visit Grandma Jiggs and Grandpa Kelly after christmas. We built a snowman and had a lot of fun. Wyatt loved the snow machine just as much as he did the motorbike. It was great to visit. We also got to see one of Josh's Uncle and Aunts that we've only met once previously. Enjoy a few of the pictures as well as the one of the budding photographer.
I got to take Wyatt skiing. Josh's mom works on the ski patrol at Mount Spokane so she gets great prices so we went up on a week day. I never thought one of my children would be one of those little tiny guys on the ski hill, but he looked pretty cute. He liked to ride on the swing(the chair lift) better than he liked going down the hill. He had fun and he wants to go again. I also got in a few solo runs and it was great to get out and do something physical. It helped a lot that it was a beautiful clear winter day up on the mountain, when the valley was covered in fog. I even got a little bit of a sun tan.
Well we're just gettin' by one day at a time. Enjoy the pictures.
