The first pumkins of the Season

Grandma Maria and Grandpa Eldon came up for conference weekend. Grandma brought a pumpkin from her garden so we got to carve it. It was a lot of fun. I got to scoop out the pumpkin guts. Oh the joys of being a mom.

I thought I got an after picture too, but I guess not. It was good I promise. Now it is in the first stages of decay, so I'm going to put it in the compost bin.

I think this makes three projects. This is a set of bedside tables to match a Mission style stickley bed. They turned out really well, except for a few minor details which you will not notice unless I disclose them, so I won't. I did want them darker, but there isn't much I can do about that now.
